Dionne: I still can't believe Amy has died

DIONNE Bromfield says she "still can't believe" her godmother Amy Winehouse has died.
Speaking in her first interview since the singer's tragic death, the teenager says she is struggling to get her head around life without the Back To Black star.

She said: "The past two weeks have been a whirlwind.

"I still don't believe it, not even now, it's not sinked in. At Amy's funeral it hit me hard, but now, I hear about her a lot, you see pictures of her, she's on the radio, so it's like she's there.

"It's strange I think when it finally sinks in, it will hit me really hard."

Amy made her last public appearance on stage with Dionne during an iTunes festival gig at the Roundhouse in Camden, North London - three days before she passed away at her flat on July 23.

Dionne said: Dionne said: "The last time I saw her she was fine, I think that was the best time I've ever seen her.

"She was one of my biggest fans, so it's such a shame to know she was at her best moment and three days later, unfortunately she was gone.

"I didn't know she was going to be there but then I saw her waiting at the side of the stage."

Recalling their relationship, Dionne added: "She was such a sweet, family orientated woman.

"She was like a mother figure to me. She loved to cook and play instruments.

"She was always on her guitar and taught me to play. I'll miss her."

Dionne performed Amy's track Love Is A Losing Game in tribute to the late star during her musical comeback at the Big Chill on Saturday.

She said: "I was so nervous but I think it was the best show I've ever done."

think she is genuinely hurt by Amy's death, but can't help being cynical, as after all, didn't Amy help propel her career?! Hope she's not gonna sponge off the back of her

Give her a break. Just because she loved Amy Whinehouse and is finding it hard to accept her loss, there is no need for people to be negative and make sarcastic comments. It was clear before Amy died that she was very close to Dionne, so have some respect for her feelings. After all she is only a young girl starting out on her career.

Get a life, & who cares about what you think. Nasty vile people like you are what is wrong with this world, this is a young girl who is just expressing her grief about losing her friend and godmother, whats wrong with you sad people!
